How we collect, use and protect your information.

Effective October 2026

1. Who we are

Unilyft Global Private Limited ("Unilyft", "we", "us") runs gounilyft.com and provides overseas education guidance, including the free Unilyft Profile Assessment and the optional Unilyft Overseas Education Advisory Report. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what choices you have.

2. What we collect

We collect what you choose to give us when you fill in a form, request a Profile Assessment, contact us or message us on WhatsApp:

  • Contact details: name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, city.
  • Your study plan: countries and courses you are considering, intake, budget, funding and timeline.
  • Your background: academic history, college and degree, test scores, work experience and, where you share them, related documents.
  • Anything you write to us in a message.

We do not ask you for passwords, card numbers or bank login details on this website.

We also collect basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view, and the advertising or campaign details that brought you here.

3. How we use it

  • To prepare your Profile Assessment and, if you request it, your Advisory Report.
  • To contact you about your request, including by WhatsApp, phone and email.
  • To give you counselling and to follow up after your report.
  • To measure and improve our website, advertising and services.
  • To keep records and meet legal obligations.

4. AI-assisted analysis

Your Profile Assessment is generated using AI-assisted analysis. The information you submit is processed by our systems and by AI service providers working for us in order to produce your report. The report is not reviewed by a person before it is sent. A Unilyft counsellor may follow up with you afterwards. We do not use your personal details to make decisions about you other than preparing the assessment you asked for.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who help us run our business, for example website hosting, email, spreadsheets and records, messaging (including WhatsApp), and AI services used to prepare your report.
  • Advertising and analytics providers, such as Google, to measure how our advertising performs.
  • Universities, education providers or government authorities, but only if you ask us to apply or act on your behalf.
  • Authorities or advisers where the law requires it.

Some of these providers may store or process information outside India.

6. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar tools to make the site work, to understand how it is used, and to measure our advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work properly without them.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we need it to serve you, to keep reasonable business records, and to meet legal requirements. After that we delete it or make it anonymous.

8. Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including access controls on our systems. No method of storing or sending data is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

9. Your choices

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can also withdraw your consent to being contacted at any time. To do any of these, write to info@gounilyft.com and tell us the name and phone number you used. We will respond within a reasonable time.

10. Third-party links

Our site may link to other websites. They have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
